Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and had three children. The couple divorced after she was 17. The business of her parents also was bankrupt, adding the financial burden. The financial problems of her family were made more difficult by her anorexia and bipolar disorder. Gossow spoke very openly in her explanation of why she decided to quit the band ARCH Enemy, as their lead singer. She stated, "There's a place and time for every thing." When I started in 1991, I was just beginning my professional career. My enthusiasm for it slowly diminished. So I opted not to play around anymore, and instead step down. The original frontwoman of this band was Johan Liiva. She was then replaced in 2000 with German singer Angela Gossow. In 1986, the Australian vocalist John Farnham recorded the song "You're The Voice". The song became immediately popular in Australia as well as in a number of European nations, including Ireland and the UK. The archenemy is a character's primary enemy in literature. The Canadian born singer who has been the vocalist of Swedish the melodic death metal group Arch Enemy since 2008. In the past, she also started the Canadian Metalcore band The Agonist.
