Both photographic and painting methods are tightly interwoven that the end result is a flat, two dimensional space which is able to achieve trompe l'oeil. Meade can sometimes incorporate her model in the surrounding three-dimensional environment and allows the model to be a part of their own world. The lines between performance, photography, installation and painting can be dissolved.
